Sketching Simplified: A Beginner’s Guide to Drawing Basics

Anyone can draw. I mean that.

I have heard so many people say, “I can’t draw,” “I’m not an artist,” etc. I refuse to believe that.

Look, if you can draw a square, a circle, a rectangle or even just a line, you are drawing! It’s  only the combination of these lines and shapes that creates images.

I have made this course to give you some basics to get started, and to work yourself up to become really good at it. And, if you are already an artist and have experience in creating art works, these basic principles will help you enormously in making your work even better. In fact, in as little as one week, you will be able to create beautiful sketches.

I have seen a lot of talent in my career, and an equal amount of disappointment because “it didn’t come out the way I wanted.” I also saw that, in those cases, the basics were just not there – wrong perspectives, no depth, etc.

Just remember that all the great masters made many sketches before they worked these into paintings. Michelangelo sketched his models many times before putting them into marble or stone.

So, even though this course is meant for beginners, it’s really for everybody who wants to learn or expand their trade. So good luck and enjoy!
